President & Founder

Chris Field

Chris Field is the founder and president of Alliance Contracting, bringing over 20 years of experience in construction and project management. He’s the steady hand behind the company’s success, combining industry expertise with a genuine commitment to building strong, lasting relationships.

With a BS in Construction Management and a Master’s in Real Estate & Development, Chris brings both big-picture vision and attention to detail. He’s not just here to manage timelines—he advocates for clients, unites teams, and ensures every project moves forward with precision and purpose. What sets Chris apart is his people-first approach. He values the connection he builds with each client and is known for making the process feel positive, professional, and even enjoyable. Outside of work, you’ll find Chris outdoors with his wife and five kids, boating on Lake Powell, riding dirt bikes in the desert, or camping with friends. Whether on the jobsite or the lake, he leads with energy, connection, and a love for bringing people together.

Project Superintendent

Skylar Nelson

Skyler has more than 11 years of hands-on construction management and field experience. He has a strong background delivering successful projects for clients in both the public and private sector.

Throughout his career, he has served in multiple roles within the construction industry—including both superintendent and project management responsibilities. This well-rounded background enables him to streamline on-site construction activities while also managing coordination with designers and owners on cost control, submittals and RFIs, document control, and project communications.
